Emily from the Travis County Libertarian Party is requesting some help for the TCLP booth at the Austin Reggae Fest on April 18. Here is her email:

Hey Guys,
Time to plead for volunteers from the LLs for our annual table at Austin Reggae Fest. We always have a great time reaching out to the pro-drugs crowd, but I need help running the booth. Mainly it would involve giving the World’s Smallest Political Quiz and just generally chatting about libertarianism to anyone that’s interested.
On both days we set up at 11:00 am; the fest runs from noon to ten at night. Because we have no generator for a light source, we shut down at dusk (everybody’s watching the concert by then anyway). Tickets are $10, but volunteering for the booth will get you in free, and you can stay as late as you like. I especially really need someone from 11-5 on Saturday, and 2-6 on Sunday.
There is also, as always, a $5 stipend for food if you are working at least 4 hours.

Thanks in advance for your volunteering. I know that Daniel and Justo are already planning on helping out, so you’re guaranteed some company as well.
Emily complimented us at one of our meetings recently, saying that she thinks we can talk about liberty even better than most of the LP candidates these days. Here’s a chance to practice what we preach so well!
